Queens County has some of the finest white-sand beaches in Atlantic Canada — most of them blissfully uncrowded.

• Beach Meadows Beach — a sheltered crescent of white sand with a boardwalk and calm, shallow water (≈ 15 min)
• Carters Beach — powder-white coves and turquoise water near Port Mouton; go early on summer weekends (≈ 25 min)
• Kejimkujik Seaside — a wild, protected coastal trail past lagoons and headlands; watch for seals on the rocks (≈ 40 min)
